Hanafuda (‘Much Good Fortune’)

Otafuku (お多福, “much good fortune”) was one of Nintendo’s premier brand of karuta decks.

The brand is named after Otafuku, a Japanese folk character depicted as a rotund woman who is good-natured and humorous.
